Congress to Vote Tomorrow (11/9) on Cocaine Amendment to Bankruptcy Bill Dear DRCNet supporter: Over 400,000 nonviolent drug offenders crowd our nation's prisons.  Michigan Senator Spencer Abraham is trying to make things even worse by sneaking an amendment that would dramatically increase penalties for low-level cocaine offenders into an unrelated bill on bankruptcy law.  Congress may vote on the Abraham amendment as soon as tomorrow (Tuesday 11/9), and your action is needed to stop it!
