Dear Governor Keating,

I am writing the following letter in regard to the recent parole recommendation of William J. Foster DOC#252721. I would like for you to be aware of what Mr. Foster has accomplished and his motivation of success during his incarceration.

I observed Mr. Foster on a daily basis. Mr. Foster has performed many tasks for other staff members and me. He completes the task in a quick and professional manner. Does not complain about what is asked or expected of him. He has shown nothing but the utmost respect to the prison staff and inmates. Mr. Foster is respected and his advice is taken with high regard among staff members here at NFCF.

Since Mr. Foster incarceration he has not had any disciplinary action taken against him (i.e. write ups), he has passed all Drug screening test, has completed Substance Abuse Education program, has had perfect job evaluations, helped modify and organize the current Substance Abuse Education Program used at this facility, works as a tutor in the computer lab (puts in 12 hour days) and many more projects to many in number to list.

I have worked in the prison industry for 10 years and Mr. Foster has proven that he has changed. I feel that Mr. Foster would not possess marijuana in the future and would not break the law again. I believe that Mr. Foster should be given a second chance to resume his life with his family. All he talks about is being back with his wife and children. I feel this is a very important issue with Mr. Foster and he would never risk not being with his family again.

I hope that you will grant Mr. Foster his parole so that he can be reunite with his family and start a now and better life wth his family and himself. Thank you for your time in this matter of great importance and consideration.

Sincerely.

Tim Brown
Unit Manager
