Subject: [HARMRED] Jon Paul Hammond

Hi, All ...

I got word a couple of hours ago that Jon Paul Hammond had died of an overdose
on Friday evening.  I tried to reach the list with this sad news, but the email
apparently didn't go through.  Jon was supposed to present at the conference in
Austin, together with Christopher Smith, a mutual friend, who let me know about
Jon's death.  Christopher is dedicating his presentation to Jon, and said to me
that he would like to participate in any memorial that is put together for Jon
at the conference.

Jon Paul's passion and commitment were inspiring, and his spirit will continue
to inform our work.

Walter
