Please consider signing your organization on to this letter about the
federal budget for Fiscal Year 2013 from the Hepatitis Appropriations
Partnership.

The letter calls for increased funding for viral hepatitis, as well as a
push to lift the federal funding ban on syringe exchange:

   - We strongly encourage the Administration to urge Congress to remove
   policy riders prohibiting the use of federal funds for syringe exchange
   programs in FY2013. Syringe exchange is a critical, evidence-based and
   cost-effective cornerstone of viral hepatitis prevention and a key
   component of the HHS Viral Hepatitis Action Plan.
