The Virginia bill to repeal the state's medical marijuana law is being considered in the Senate Committee on Education and Health TOMORROW morning. It is crucial that the bill be stopped in committee, because this committee is more likely to be willing to make a rational decision, rather than a political one. The bill was sent to the full committee without a recommendation by the subcommittee.
Please call your own Senator, and the members of the committee, in opposition to HB 1621, and in support of access to medical marijuana and protection for patients. If you can get to Richmond, please consider attending the hearings. They start in the morning (we don't have the exact time), and will take place at 9th & Broad.

You can also e-mail your Senators via http://208.9.8.6/comment.htm on the web, and you can fax the State Senate at (804) 786-0095.
