Friends,
As we near springtime, the DRCNet rapid-response-team has been growing by nearly ten new subscribers a day, and has just about reached 1600. But to attain the legislative clout needed to win the big fight, we need tens of thousands of people ready to barrage the halls of power with letters and phone calls. Please help DRCNet grow, by recruiting as many new subscribers for us as you can. The following note, or your own version, can be sent to your friends, posted on appropriate mailing lists and newsgroups, even printed out and tacked to bulletin boards. If you have a web site, please consider copying our banner from http://www.drcnet.org/drcnetbanner.gif and placing it prominently on your web site.
recruitment note follows
If you're opposed to Drug Prohibition, or even if you just think the War on Drugs has gone too far, you should sign up online with the Drug Reform Coordination Network, drug policy reform central on the Internet. DRCNet's "rapid-response-team" will keep you up to date on what's going on with the issue and the movement to change US drug policy. Just a few bulletins a week, DRCNet won't jam your mailbox, but will put you "in the loop". Every supporter of drug policy reform should be on DRCNet.
Please visit our home page at http://www.drcnet.org and follow the link to our "quick sign-up" form at http://www.drcnet.org/signup.html, and you can get "in the loop" for drug policy reform in less than a minute. Tell your friends!
If you like what you see here and want to get these bulletins by e-mail, please fill out our quick signup form at http://www.drcnet.org/signup.html.
