Families Against Mandatory Minimums (F.A.M.M.) is a national organization working for repeal of mandatory minimum sentences and reform of the Federal Sentencing Guidelines. F.A.M.M.'s first "Justice Day" was held this past Tuesday, May 17th, on the steps of the Capitol Building in Washington. F.A.M.M. is dedicated to the 8th constitutional amendment, that "Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishment inflicted." Though F.A.M.M. takes no position on drug legalization, it opposes the tyrannical mandatory minimum sentences that have been enacted in the name of the Drug War. For information, contact:
